PRIVATE LESSONS
J3 Baseball and Softball Training offers a variety of lesson options and packages. Lessons are $45 for a 30 min lessons. 5 packages and 10 packages of lessons are available for a discounted price. Indoor Facility
We have finally found a place to call our own. After a few years of John renting space at other facilities in July of 2020 we moved into our own location located at 4450 Nelson Brogdon Blvd, Buford, Ga. We have 5 batting cages inside with 2500sq ft of turfed outdoor space.
Summer Camp
What to expect?
Our camp curriculum revolves around an enjoyable learning based experience. Players will learn about different baseball topics and skills such as hitting, fielding, throwing, and more each week to improve their overall baseball knowledge and performance.
- Hitting - One on one instruction and teaching will give us information on each players good and bad habits to help each player create a more efficient swing.
- Fielding- Athletes will be grouped based on skill level to ensure they are learning new skills in order to preform better defensively.
- Pitching-Pitching mechanics will be taught and individualized for each athlete to help them maintain the most power as well as control of the zone.
What should you bring?
Full Day Field Camp

Private hitting lessons are a great opportunity for your child to understand the proper mechanics necessary to keep moving forward in the sport of baseball or softball. We make sure we understand everyones personal goals and go in detail with every athlete to create a strong balanced swing in order to help them throughout their entire baseball or softball career.

OUR INSTRUCTORS
JOHN LAMAY
HITTING, PITCHING, AND FIELDING
- Coach John LaMay is originally from the Gwinnett area. He played in GGBL growing up as well as local travel teams such as Team Georgia Baseball Academy, coached by Chirs McRainey and Team Elite, coached by Brad Bouras. He played for Greater Atlanta Christian School in High School before starting his collegiate career. Coach John works with kids 5 years old and up on hitting, pitching, throwing, and fielding. He primarily does one on one private lessons for both hitting and pitching. His passion of the game shows as he teaches with a detailed eye and a lot of energy. Coach John's main focus is to give back the knowledge and skills that he gained from his experience of playing baseball at a high level. Coach John played at the University of North Georgia and South Georgia State College. Everyone on the J3 Baseball staff has a passion and a love for the game which shows in how we teach it to all ages.
CHARLIE PADILLA
CATCHING, HITTING, AND FIELDING
- Coach Charlie Padilla grew up in the Gwinnett area playing baseball at Collins Hill high school. He played travel baseball with Team Elite coached by Brad Bouras and earned a scholarship to play at the University of South Carolina Aiken. As a catcher he knows what hard work is and he expects it out of his players. Coach Charlie works with kids ages 5 years old and up in catching, hitting, fielding, and throwing. Energetic and animated are the best words to describe the way Coach Charlie teaches offering many verbal and visual aids to ensure that each player has found the most efficient mechanics. Coach Charlie is still currently playing professional baseball for an Independent team out of the Pecos League and will be gone during the summer. So make sure you schedule a lesson with him today.
